Motion to Dismiss Granted in Two Copyright Infringement Lawsuits re Motion Picture "God's Not Dead" (2016/2017)

In Chey v. Pure Flix Entertainment LLC, et al., LP&S successfully moved to dismiss another copyright infringement lawsuit against the motion picture God's Not Dead.  The District Court Michael W. Fitzgerald, J., found that the plaintiff's allegations concerned non-copyrightable scenes-a-faire.

In Kullberg, et al. v. Pure Flix Entertainment LLC, et al., LP&S successfully moved to dismiss a copyright infringement lawsuit filed against the motion picture God's Not Dead.  The District Court, Manuel L. Real, J., found that the motion picture was not substantially similar to the plaintiffs' script.
